Hometown Narrative: rough draft


 Hometown Narrative: Assignment one rough draft. 

    In this particular assignment, I had to write a paper on my hometown and how it shaped me. This paper was a fun one for me. It was imperative to me to make it so that the reader could see and smell the environment I was describing. I tried to use as many descriptive words as possible. when starting this assignment I used old-fashioned pen and paper. I called my sister who helped me narrow the process down. she told me to list three things about the location in which I was writing and each subject would be the basis of a paragraph. This really simplified the task for me. This was my first rough draft of my narrative. In this photo, at the top, is my list of subject matters. then the paragraphs below were based on the topics. the opening paragraph is not posed here. it was on a separate sheet.

Final Reflection

 Here is the Final Reflection assignment.  Brandi Lambright   Mrs. Nall   Comp I   8 December 2024   Final Reflection               The first assignment we were asked to do was a hometown narrative called “Where I ' m From .” This assi gnment was my favorite. I thought long about what place in my hometown impacted who I am today. For me, that was the launder mat. It was a place where my sisters and I spent a good bit of our time. My process in this paper was simple. I decided to pick 3 points I wanted to have as paragraphs. I labeled them on a piece of paper as the launder mat, the load, and the fun.  This was our third major writing assignment. I was most proud of this one. I had to make it on a power point which is a medium I have never used before. This assignment also earned me my first 100% grade. For this assignment we had to design a book cover to represent a short story we each picked out earlier in the semester.
